Sierra Alpine Leadership Camp

Five Day - Alpine Leadership Camp

The Sierra Alpine Leadership Camp is more than a course—it’s a full alpine immersion designed to transform the way you travel in the mountains. Over multiple days in a structured yet adventurous setting, this intensive program takes you from the fundamentals of alpine movement all the way to advanced decision-making and leadership. Each day builds intentionally on the last, weaving together technical skill development, group dynamics, and real-world application in stunning alpine terrain.

From learning how to move efficiently with crampons and ice axe to navigating complex terrain and managing a team in variable conditions, you’ll develop not just the skills but the mindset of a mountain leader. Our guides create a formal learning environment while keeping the atmosphere supportive, engaging, and inspiring so that you’re challenged without being overwhelmed.

By the end of camp, you’ll walk away with more than just new techniques: you’ll have the confidence, creativity, and mountain sense to step into leadership roles on your own adventures, whether that means planning bigger objectives in the Sierra, the Cascades, or beyond.
